Tender description

North London Waste Authority (the Authority) is commencing procurement of a contractor to carry out the following works at the Edmonton EcoPark: (i) construction of a resource recovery facility incorporating a reuse and recycling centre and associated works; (ii) construction of a building to be known as EcoPark House comprising of a visitor, community and education centre for the wider community, office accommodation and a boat canopy and associated works; (iii) works to the existing utilities relating to the RRF and EcoPark House, laying and installation of new utilities and services. North London Waste Authority (the Authority) is commencing procurement of a contractor to carry out the following works: (i) construction of a Resource Recovery Facility (RRF) incorporating a reuse and recycling centre and associated works. It includes construction of the following: recycling and fuel preparation facility (RFPF), a reuse and recycling centre (RRC), offices, and staff and visitor welfare facilities, odour abatement and dust suppression plant and equipment, fire control water tanks and pump house and equipment, surface water pumps, pipework and attenuation tanks, vehicle and cycle parking, vehicle and cycle and pedestrian routes and weighbridges, landscaping; (ii) construction of a building to be known as EcoPark House comprising of a visitor, community and education centre for the wider community, office accommodation, a boat canopy and associated works including hard standing, drainage, earthworks, landscaping, fencing and lighting, and clearance of the wharf; (iii) works to the existing utilities relating to the RRF and EcoPark House, laying and installation of new utilities and groundworks. These works include the relocation or decommissioning of existing and the laying of new pipes, cables and systems for portable water, wastewater, surface water, foul water, process water, electricity, gas, and CCTV, telecoms and data. It further includes 11kV ring main ducting and cabling.
