Tender description

We wish to inform the market, in advance, that National Grid and Statnett intends to go out to tender for a stand–alone implicit trading solution outside of the IEM, whereby the GB and NO2 region of Norway is coupled with NSL. The first stage of which will be a request for information (RFI) during September/October 2019. We anticipate that the next stage of the process will commence in November/December 2019, after we have had an opportunity to consider the responses received to the RFI. It is hoped that this notice will be helpful in providing your organisation with the necessary time to plan for the participation in the tender event once it is launched.
