The North Western Universities Purchasing Consortium (NWUPC) is a not for profit organisation owned by its full members consisting of 24 Universities. Our purpose is ‘to provide a structure for higher education institutions to secure value for money in matters relating to purchasing goods and services’. NWUPC set up and contract manage framework agreements in ten category areas. Framework agreements are established to ensure compliance with the European Procurement Regulations which cover public sector contracts over a certain threshold value. NWUPC are conducting market engagement for the renewal of a framework agreement for plumbing, sanitary and heating equipment market engagement for NWUPC Members and other participating regional consortia — CPC, HEPCW, LUPC, NEUPC, SUPC — with the possibility to be available to other regional consortia Members also. NWUPC are seeking the input of the market on a number of areas to help inform the structure of the framework and the scope of requirements. By participating in the market engagement questionnaire, you are undertaking that you are authorised to supply any information you provide and that you understand and agree that: participation in this market engagement will not include or preclude any organisation from participating in any future procurement exercise. The outcome of the market engagement will aid the Consortium’s development of its tender strategy and will not favour any single response to the market engagement. No information provided in the response to the market engagement will be used in any evaluation of any subsequent response to a procurement exercise. The outcomes of the market engagement will become the sole property of the Consortium.
