Calling all Residential Homes / Nursing Homes with Bed Vacancies in Hackney and surrounding Boroughs The London Borough of Hackney and City and Hackney CCG have been working hard to reduce the numbers of Delayed transfers of Care (DToC) over the last few years, with some success, reducing overall DToCs by nearly 30% over 12 months. However, we continue to have more delays than we want, due to difficulties accessing care homes. We are now potentially seeking to purchase, either on a block booking or block and volume basis, both residential and nursing home beds (+dementia) in the Hackney or surrounding areas. We are seeking homes that are easy for residents and their families to get to from Hackney. Ideally your home should have a CQC rating of Good or above, although we will consider services with ratings of requires improvement in certain areas. All homes will be subject to either a visit, consultation and a review of any improvement plans. This market engagement is to initially identify potential providers who may wish to express an interest whom we may then seek to negotiate with individual care homes/companies. If you wish to be considered as part of this engagement exercise please send initial expressions of interest, stating if you have any beds available and if so how many and of what type, via the Pro-Contract Portal - if you are not registered on the portal you will need to register (this is free of charge) as all communications will be conducted using the Pro-Contract portal.
