Tender description

NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU (AGCSU) on behalf of The East Kent CCGs (NHS Ashford CCG, NHS Canterbury and Coastal CCG, NHS South Kent Coast CCG and NHS Thanet CCG) (referred to as the Commissioner(s)) invited expressions of interest from potential bidders who were suitably qualified and experienced to deliver the urgent treatment centres (UTC) in locations across the East Kent CCG Footprint. The criteria for provision is in line with NHS England vision and standards for UTCs Urgent treatment centre Kent and Canterbury Hospital. Urgent Treatment Centre Queen Elizabeth Queen Mother Hospital. Urgent Treatment Centre William Harvey Hospital. Urgent Treatment Centre Faversham UTC. Urgent Treatment Centre Herne Bay UTC. Urgent treatment centre for Whitstable locality UTC in accordance with the NHS long term plan published in January 2019 to ensure all localities have a consistent offer for out-of-hospital urgent care, with option of appointments booked through a call to NHS 111.
