Crisis Communications Expertise to develop and deliver training for London Local Authorities. The development and delivery of crisis communications training this FY to 33 Local Authority Heads of Communications and approximately 125 Local Authority Press Offciers develop and deliver trainiong to Local Authority Heads of Commications and Press Officers. This project will require: - A package developed through a bespoke training needs analysis of London’s crisis communications needs and capabilities. - It is designed around the particular risk profile, organisational structures and emergency planning arrangements across London’s 33 boroughs. - It provides a standardised approach to crisis comms training across London as well as facilitating interactive discussion, networking and joint working across the boroughs - It delivers an interactive experience for participants, enabling them to consolidate their knowledge and experience in a supportive learning environment. - Heads of Communication have the opportunity to rehearse their practical skills by delivering crisis communications in response to a realistic scenario, including a mock Gold Group and recorded interviews. - The training is delivered by a specialist team of trainers with a range and depth of experience in crisis communications, major incidents and disaster management, both within and beyond London.
