Conservation Consultant Support Services for the Whitefriargate Humber High Street Challenge Fund Scheme

Tender description

Hull City Council and Historic England are working together to deliver regeneration within the Hull Old Town Conservation Area. This work is being coordinated under the ‘Heritage Action Zone’ scheme. It is anticipated that approximately 22 building frontages will be improved using the PSiCA (Partnership in a Conservation Area) funding. Further information is provided in the Delivery Plan Appendix 2, of the RFQ, which outlines the project area and details the target properties to receive PSiCA funding. However, as the scheme is to be a market-led initiative, the list of target properties will be subject to regular review in line with expressions of interest from grant applicants. This commission will require the appointed Conservation Consultant to provide 40 days of consultancy support over the life of the scheme to assist in the delivery of the scheme objectives and to undertake the duties/tasks specified within the quotation documents.
