Care and Support at Home Market Engagement

This notice provides updates to providers on West Sussex County Council's Care and Support at Home recommission planned for 2020. UPDATE 18th SEPTEMBER 2019 Dear Service Provider Thank you to those of you who have already responded to the provider survey on the future commissioning proposals for Care and Support at Home. We appreciate you taking the time to give your views and to support with the development of the proposals. To enable more time for those who haven't yet had the opportunity to respond, we have extended the deadline for responses until the 29th September 2019. The link to the survey and to the slides and information shared at the recent engagement event are below: Provider Survey - https://haveyoursay.westsussex.gov.uk/policy-and-comms/casa-provider-survey As part of the full consultation process there is also a survey for stakeholders, including paid care workers, on our Have Your Say website link here. This has also been extended to give more time for those with an interest to respond with the same deadline as the provider survey - the 29th September 2019. As part of this, there are some specific questions we would like to ask you which are attached to this email. These questions are designed to help us to understand the potential payment models and options and the impact of these different options. We would be most grateful if you could respond to these questions by completing the attached word document and sending back to adultscommissioning@westsussex.gov.uk by the 29th September 2019. All of the responses will be included as part of the consultation alongside the responses to the provider survey. In summary the opportunities for service providers to feedback are through: 1) Completion of the provider survey, and 2) Response to the attached questions on payment options We are keen to hear from as many service providers as possible. Please do join those who have used the opportunity to feedback to ensure your views can also be considered in the development of the commissioning proposals for Care and Support at Home.
