This is a prior information notice (PIN) and not a call to competition. This notice is to advise the market that the University College Cork (UCC) intends to tender for the provision of a car parking solution by open competition within the next twelve (12) months. In advance of any competitive procurement process to select a replacement solution, University College Cork, is conducting a market soundings exercise. Market operators are hereby invited to access and participate in this market information exercise by completing the questionnaire available on www.etenders.gov.ie For further details on this market soundings exercise please see the associated prior information notice document available on the etenders website, www.etenders.gov.ie Given the age and condition of the existing infrastructure UCC is looking to replace the existing car park management solution with a solution that will deliver benefits to UCC and the car park users. At this stage UCC wishes to undertake a marketing sounding exercise with manufacturers of such systems, as this may assist UCC in the choice of award procedure and preparation of a specification.
