Tender description
The project is part of Cornwall Council’s Towns Fund bid for the town. The bid is focused upon addressing deprivation within the town and surrounding area and includes multiple sites. The Bus Station site has recently become available for purchase following the owner and previous supplier of bus services in Cornwall, First, failing to secure a renewal of their contract. First are seeking to downsize their operations and retaining the depot / bus station site is not seen as a priority. Following initial funding (circa £750,000) being received, the Council wish to review Bus Station site.
