Tender description

Dumfries and Galloway Council is undertaking an OJEU tender exercise in order to put in place a contract for a single supplier to act as a survey partner to undertake condition surveys on an instruction basis. The condition surveys will comprise a survey of public buildings in terms of external and internal fabric and M&E services. Timescales in relation to this opportunity have been shorted inline with relevant regulations due to the publication of Prior Information notice. Dumfries and Galloway Council intends to undertake condition surveys across its existing public buildings estate. The condition surveys will comprise of the surveying of public buildings in terms of external and internal fabric and M&E services, preparation of condition surveys reports (including the population of an asset database) and photographic survey as part of condition survey reports and database. The aim of this work is to gather information to allow the council to assist in the continuing maintenance and adaptation of properties within the council's asset management programme. The work will be carried out to various council-owned and managed buildings of all types and will consist of carrying out detailed surveys and preparing reports to establish the physical condition of the buildings and their grounds and the cost of bringing them up to standard. Please note the building are all non-housing stock.
