10 Year Sports & Physical Activity Strategy

Tender description

Copeland Borough Council is seeking to appoint a company to undertake a facilities audit to inform our local plan process and to be used as evidence to undertake the development of a sports and physical activity strategy and priorities. This commission to include the use of both the new and existing evidence for the development of a Sports with physical activity Strategy, a Playing Fields Strategy and a high level Play Facility Strategy. All of these to be developed using relevant national guidance and policy references to maximise their ability to assist and inform the development of the sports and physical activity sector within Copeland and meet our social inclusion and inclusive growth policy commitments. It should be noted that the Council works closely with partners including Copeland Community Fund, our leisure contractor, Greenwich Leisure Limited, and Active Cumbria in commissioning this strategy development.
