WEED CONTROL HIGHWAYS AND OTHER AREAS SERVICES

Tender description

The Council is seeking to engage with Suppliers able to deliver Weed Control Services and discuss the current arrangements and other available options in the market that may result in changes in the delivery of the services for the future. We are also seeking views on the financial implications of any changes in the use of current herbicides. Tower Hamlets council will be holding a supplier engagement event on Wednesday 16th October 2019 Venue: Poplar Recreational Yard, Hale Street E14 ODJ Time: 1:30pm to 3pm Please note you must register to attend. Please send expressions of interest to attend to Matthew.Twohig@towerhamlets.gov.uk by no later than 14thOctober 2019 Additional information: The work comprises of using appropriate herbicides that will be used for the control, of weed growth on the public highways and we are keen to hear from the market on innovative approach to effectively deliver the service. For avoidance of doubt this is not a call for competition at this stage, the purpose is to seek ideas from the market that may inform the final specification for the future procurement.
