Tender description

The Council is seeking to engage with suppliers able to deliver weed control services and discuss the current arrangements and other available options in the market that may result in changes in the delivery of the services. We are also seeking views on the financial implications of any changes in the use of current herbicides. The work comprises of using appropriate herbicides that will be used for the control, of weed growth on the public highways and we are kin to hear from the market on innovative approach to effectively deliver the service. For avoidance of doubt this is not a call for competition at this stage, the purpose is to advise the market on the forthcoming procurement of London Borough of Tower Hamlets Weed Control Services in the Highway and other places and seek ideas from the market that may inform the final specification. This is a prior information notice to give advance notice to potential suppliers that may be interested in discussing with the team the current requirements and applying for this future contract opportunity. Tower Hamlets council will be holding a supplier engagement event on 16.10.2019.
