Tender description

Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council (RCTCBC) in partnership with local statutory and third sector partners is participating in the Vulnerable persons relocation scheme (VPRS). It is anticipated that Rhondda Cynon Taf may host approximately 20 people during 2019. To assist in the provision of daily operational support of refugees, we are seeking to appoint a service provider to deliver ongoing case work and an advocacy function for refugees within the locality. This provision will provide generic support and primary orientation within the host communities, the service provider will support liaison between refugee(s) and community services and will encourage the resilience of refugee families to fully integrate, participate and settle within their new communities. Whilst Rhondda Cynon Taf has adopted a partnership approach to this scheme, the management function will be held by the Council, who will monitor the delivery of this contract.
