Tender description

The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council (the Council) is seeking to source a suitably licensed contractor to deliver the service which is composed of the keeping, recycling and treating of recyclable Sweepings Waste (the ‘Recyclable Waste’). The main objective of the contract is to divert waste away from landfill and to improve the Council's National Indicator ‘NI192’ performance. The contract is required to start 1.11.2019 and will run for a fixed period of 2 years until 31.10.2021 with the option to extend for an additional 2 year period. The contractor will carry out the service on behalf of the Council for a fixed rate per tonne.
