Tender description

The London Borough of Hillingdon is committed to maximising recycling and reducing waste via the saferemoval and processing of the following materials from its Harlington Road Depot: 1) Highways arising's (street sweepings, rubble and soil); 2) Bulky items (furniture and fly tipped material); 3) Street litter. Therefore, the London Borough of Hillingdon required a contractor to undertake the collection and processing of highways arising, bulky waste items and street litter in accordance with the waste hierarchy (prevention, re-use,re-cycling, recovery and disposal). Commencement date: 23.8.2019 Contract duration: 3 + 2 (total contract term 5 years). Form of contract: LB Hillingdon Terms and Conditions. Estimated contract value (over 5 years) c. 7 500 000 GBP. Requirements: The contractor shall collect the materials listed above from the London Borough of Hillingdon’s Harlington Road. Depot as required between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., Monday to Friday and upon request on a Saturday and Sunday.
