Network Rail is seeking information on the latest technological developments in self-propelled rail-borne ballast consolidation machines which could be supplied as part of a supply, operate and maintain contract. Interested parties will be requested to attend a meeting at which they may present details of potential technologies. Parties may also attend with representatives from any relevant original equipment manufacturers. Requests to participate in this fact finding exercise should be submitted by 16.00 on 30.9.2019, and meetings will take place during October and November 2019 at a date and UK location to be agreed.
