Provision of Energy Generation / Battery Storage Consultancy Services - revised requirement

Tender description

Bedford Borough Council are investigating the opportunity to invest in battery storage co-located with solar generation at several key sites in Bedford. To facilitate this, the Council requires a consultant to lead on this project to assess its technical and financial viability, helping the Council to make an informed decision to progress this project. If found viable, the consultant will then support the Council to choose a developer for the site (using Council procurement and contractual procedures) and oversee the implementation of the project. Please note that the successful consultant would be unable to bid for any subsequent development/ construction contracts that form part of this project, remaining impartial and independent.
