Processing of recyclable materials including through a materials recycling facility

Tender description

Newcastle Council & North Tyneside Council are seeking a suitable organisation to receive source segregated recycling material, collected using in-house teams, and for them to provide and operate a materials recovery/recycling facility to receive, sort and transfer segregated materials, all to suitably licensed merchants or re-processors. The organisation will provide a complete record of all materials delivered, interim processors/outlets and the final destination of each material. Suita-ble delivery points are to be made available where the Authority will be able to deliver their collected materials.
