Physiotherapy services

Tender description

The Council wishes to invite suitably interested, qualified and experienced parties (‘Tenderers’) to participate in a tender exercise to establish a contract for the provision of physiotherapy services. The successful tenderer will be required to provide the services described below and in the tender specification via the in-house Occupational Health Unit. The successful service provider may be required to supply the services to other local authorities/schools in accordance with the contract. The Occupational Health Unit is comprised of an occupational health physician, occupational health nurse advisors, physiotherapists and a business support team. The service is managed by the occupational health business manager on a day to day basis and provides a service to the Council’s employees and a range of public sector partners, totalling in the region of 10 000 individuals working across a wide range of trades and professions; including manual and administrative services.
