Tender description

KCC requires the processing and disposal of food waste via anaerobic digestion at a final disposal outlet within the administrative boundary of Kent County Council. The facility will have valid and appropriate planning permission, environmental and other relevant permits including the relevant technical competencies for the amount of food waste to be handled and otherwise all permissions and certification required to deliver the requires services. The final disposal outlet must have the capacity and capability to handle up to 24 000 tonnes of Food Waste per annum from 1.4.2020, up to 37 000 tonnes from 16.1.2021, and up to 45 000 tonnes from 2023.
