Lincolnshire County Council currently operates an open select list for the provision of community supported living for adults with a range of different needs including learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health. This PIN initiates a process of pre-tender market engagement. Initially engagement will be conducted utilising a questionnaire seeking the views of the market on a key factors associated with the service. The questionnaire can be downloaded from the portal advert section in pro contract which is where you can officially express an interest (www.procontract.due-north.com). Please return these by 5 p.m. on 23.9.2019. In addition, we intend to hold a market engagement event in December this year, all organisations expressing an interest in this PIN will be invited you to the event once the details are finalised. Lincolnshire County Council wishes to recommission its open select list for the provision of community supported living for adults with a range of different needs including learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health. The open select list is due to end on 31.5.2020. The service supports vulnerable individuals of 18 years and above who require commissioned care and support or accommodation, care and support services to live in the community. Individuals requiring care and support live in a variety of settings including dedicated single or shared supported living schemes, rented accommodation, owner occupied property, extra care schemes or live with family, carers or friends. The purpose of the service is to enable vulnerable adults to develop existing skills or acquire new skills to increase their independence in daily living through appropriate risk taking, identify and enable opportunities for education and employment, and ultimately meet their desired outcomes as detailed within their personal plan. In addition services focus on keeping individuals healthy and safe. Support is purchased flexibly based on assessed need so that it can be reviewed to meet any fluctuations in individual needs. The number of support hours commissioned is based on assessment of need by the commissioner.
