Tender description
FOR FULL DETAILS DOWNLOAD THE TENDER PACKAGE AT https://www.delta-esourcing.com/respond/2Q32DW55BB In benthic samples taken at some sandbanks, the presence of litter was recorded in 100% of samples. Although the presence of litter is a concern there is a lack of information on the impact of plastic litter on the specific features of our MPA network. The first step in improving our knowledge of this issue is to carry out a literature review of the evidence available on the impact of litter (macro and micro) on the features of the English and Welsh inshore and offshore MPA network. Where information or evidence is not directly available, the literature review should look at similar species/habitats (proxies) to the actual features of our sites and provide as much information on their applicability as possible. The review should highlight gaps in evidence so that these gaps can be targeted for further investigation.
