Tender description

Cranes. Bedenham Pier is a tidal jetty in Portsmouth Harbour used for the loading of munitions. The requirement is for the design, construction, testing, delivery and commissioning of 2 fixed pedestal cranes to be installed on the jetty for the purpose of loading and unloading lighters and minor warships berthed either side of the Pier. The cranes will be required to comply with stringent MOD safety standards in addition to commercial standards. The cranes must be suitable for operation in a marine environment.
