Tender description

Northern Ireland Transport Holding Company (NITHC) which is a whole owned subsidiary of Translink, is currently looking to tender for a replacement carpark entry system within three (3) of its multi-storey car parks in Belfast City Centre and one (1) in Derry/Londonderry. It is envisaged that the system will be an automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) system linked to a centrally monitored control room. The proposed system must be able to support cloud storage, pre-booking and contract options and central reporting functions. It is also envisaged that the CCTV currently installed within the multi-storey carparks will be replaced at the same time to work in tandem with the barrier entry system. Translink wish to have a suitably qualified company contracted by the end of March 2020. NITHC (Translink) may at any time amend the requirements as stated above and Suppliers should not treat this information as being definitive. Before embarking on a tender process, Translink wishes to engage with the market place to gather intelligence which will inform the sourcing strategy for this contract and thus, the procurement process. We are seeking to engage with experienced Carpark ANPR Entry System providers, which are capable of fulfilling the requirements of the scope of requirement once issued.
