Tender description

The University of Southampton is constructing new facilities, and part of this development effort is the update of experimental facilities. This Invitation to Tender addresses one of the requirements, namely a new Boundary Layer Wind Tunnel (BLWT) designed as a flexible test platform for novel aerodynamics and fluid mechanics research work and experimental technique. The wind tunnel will be installed in a newly constructed building at the University of Southampton's campus. The new building is known as Building 185. This procurement aims to identify a Contractor to design, manufacture, deliver, install, test and commission the BLWT in accordance with the requirements and performance criteria detailed within the Invitation to Tender document set.
