Tender description

The Science Museum Group is looking for asbestos management services for historic collection objects. The Science Museum Group (SMG) of looking for asbestos management services for historic objects within the collection of the Science Museum Group. Approximately 479 129 objects in the SMG’s historic collections at July 2018, of which a small proportion known or suspected to contain asbestos containing materials. The suppliers will provide to SMG asbestos consultants, asbestos surveyors, analysts and remediation operatives to fulfil the asbestos management deliverables within the contract.
