Leicester City Council needs to re-tender the secure storage of records and on request a scanning service as the current contracts expire in September 2019. The requirement is for both the secure storage of Leicester City Council records and an on-request scanning service which will be able to offer, both on-demand and project related document conversion services. The supplier will provide all supporting services for both file level and box level indexed records, to identify, review, retrieve and destroy files through pre-defined retention schedules following a review by Leicester City Council. The requirement is for both the secure storage of Leicester City Council records and an on-request scanning service which will be able to offer, both on-demand and project related document conversion services. The supplier will provide all supporting services for both file level and box level indexed records, to identify, review, retrieve and destroy files through pre-defined retention schedules following a review by Leicester City Council. The supplier will work closely with Leicester City Council and their current supplier to produce a methodology and project plan within agreed timescales for a seamless transition for the initial uplift and transfer of all physical corporate records (circa 23 500 different sized boxes) currently held with the incumbent supplier and where necessary the new supplier will provide additional staffing resource to support the completion of this within a timely manner as agreed in the exit strategy with the incumbent supplier.
