Supply and Delivery of a Ultrasonic Immersion C-Scanner for the University of Limerick

Tenders are invited for the Supply and installation of a Multi-axis automated ultrasonic scanning system. Research of composite materials has steadily increased at the University of Limerick over the last two decades. This research extends from analytical modelling to polymer processing to producing large-scale composite components. Various options to assess the quality of these manufactured components has existed on-site during this timeframe, but currently these systems are out-dated with limited functionality. Thus, an Ultrasonic Immersion C-Scanner is required to carry out non-destructive ultrasonic testing and detection of flaws in metallic and composite materials. This equipment would serve well in assessing the quality of our manufacturing processes and of the components produced.
