Tender description

Providing healthy and good quality catering services at 9 schools in Birmingham which make up the drb Ignite Multi Academy Trust, who are looking to appoint a contractor to provide school meals from April 2020. The contract is for an initial period of 3 years, with 2 optional 1 year extensions. The bidding contractors must be able to show a proven track record of operating similar contracts within budgets and guidelines. There are currently the following pupils on roll: — Audley Primary School — 712, — The Oval School — 528, — Jervoise Primary School — 285, — Princethorpe Infant School — 180, — Princethorpe Junior School — 240, — Beechwood Primary School — 195, — Bromley Pensnett Primary School — 280, — Hob Green Primary School — 228, — Wychall Primary School — 396. You must be able to show an innovative approach to providing a school meal service, in line with healthy eating and sourcing fresh local produce. Note: Deadline for return of tender is midday 25.10.2019. Please note this tender falls under the Light Touch Regime of the Public Contract Regulations 2015.
