Tender description

The contract is for the supply and delivery of new Asphalt Surfacing Plant: — Lot 1: Asphalt Paver, — Lot 2: Cold Milling Machine (Planer), — Lot 3: Double Drum Vibratory Asphalt Roller. Shetland Islands Council requires an asphalt paver with a minimum operational weight of 17,5 tonnes and minimum laying capacity of 650 tonnes per hour. Shetland Islands Council requires an asphalt cold milling machine with an operational weight of no more than 23 tonnes. It should have a maximum transport width of 2,5 metres. Shetland Islands Council requires a double drum vibratory asphalt roller with an operational weight of between 9 and 11 tonnes. It should have a driver's cab, with integrated roll over protection, and a maximum transport width of 2 metres.
