Derry City and Strabane District Council (DCSDC) wish to invite written tenders from suitably experienced organisations for the provision of stewarding and crowd management for festival and events within the Council area from 1.4.2020 to 31.3.2023. DCSDC has established an annual public outdoor events programme. DCSDC has established an annual public outdoor events programme which includes a number of major events throughout the year including but not limited to: — Foyle Maritime Festival (Biennial) June/July, — Halloween Celebrations, Derry and Strabane October, — Christmas Lights Switch On November, — Christmas Events, Derry and Strabane November – End December, — St Patrick’s Day/Spring Carnival, Derry and Strabane March, — Summer Jamm, Strabane June, — food events various. Each festival varies in scale and dynamic with varying requirements for stewarding and crowd management subject to final programme. Services required include: — security to secure the site for set up and take down where appropriate, — overnight security where required, — crowd management stewards relevant to audience numbers, — provision of child welfare relevant to audience numbers, — assist participants/performers as dictated by the final programme.
