NU/1527 Supply and Installation of Compact Shelving

Tender description

The scope of this contract is for the supply and installation, warranty and service of compact shelving within the University Library Store at Unit 1, Dukesway Court, Dukesway, Team valley NE11 0PJ. The shelving system and storage area is being built and designed to fully comply with BS16893:2018 and BS4971:2017 as the store is to accommodate printed material, books, journals, archives, plans and a range of different size and types of architectural models. The store will hold the unique archive of world renowned Architect and Newcastle alumnus Sir Terry Farrell. Spanning 50 years of professional practice, the archive contains models, plans, and documents covering his formative years to his iconic and award winning designs as founder of the prestigious Farrells architecture firm. This includes the MI6 Building in London, Beijing South Station in China, and the Embankment Place development above and around Charing Cross station. Keywords: Library Shelving
