Mid Ulster District Council seeks bids for the sale of approx. 45 000 tonnes of landfill void available at Ballymacombs Landfill Site, Ballymacombs Road, Bellaghy, BT45 8JP. An opportunity is being offered to purchase void space in advance of the site re-opening on the 1.4.2020 for a period of 10 months till the 31.1.2021. The void is being sold on a ‘put or pay’ basis where the bidder will be required to dispose the full amount of waste bid for, or pay a penalty equal to 100 per cent of the disposal charge (not including landfill tax).
