Liverpool Ways to Work Construction Training Provider

The Liverpool Ways to Work project is designed to provide a range of services to residents across the city which enhances their employability skills and enables them to progress to sustainable employment. Participants registered on the Ways to Work project are offered one-to-one support. Our officers work directly with local employers and they arrange customized employer-led training for participants on the project. The construction industry is a key growth area for Liverpool and there is currently a high demand from local employers for new workers. Our officers have established links with local construction firms and we have set up a structured process which enables local residents to gain entry-level qualifications/certification to enter the construction industry and take their first steps in their new career. We work with local organisations which specialize in training/provision for CSCS card certification and relevant health and safety courses. Moving forward our priority is to ensure a rapid turnaround between course delivery and the issuing of CSCS cards. Keywords: cscs, construction, training
