Tender description

Supply and fit of uPVC windows to tenanted properties in social rented sector. Cassiltoun Housing Association plans to engage an experienced contractor to supply and fit new windows and doors to approximately 161 properties over the period April 2020 until March 2022, in the Castlemilk area of Glasgow. The initial engagement will be for a period of 2 years, but consideration will be given to extending this annually up to 3 further years. The works will encompass the removal of existing windows and installation of new uPVC windows at approximately 161 properties owned by CHA in the Castlemilk area of Glasgow, over the 2-year period. In some cases, new doors will also be required. It is expectation of Cassiltoun that the vast majority of the contract will be carried out by personnel directly employed by the successful contractor, with only specialist trades being subcontracted.
