Tender description

Hull City Council is seeking suitably qualified providers to supply and deliver supported living services for the authority's social care services. The authority intends to establish potentially 2 dynamic purchasing systems (DPS) for the provision of these services. One will be for supporting adults, the other for an age ranging from 16 plus. The length of contracts will be governed by the individual needs of the service user. Suppliers can apply to join either DPS at any point during its lifetime. We anticipate the launch of both of the DPS's to be in October 2019. The DPS's will be established for a period of 8 years with the option to extend for up to a further 2 years. Category 1: emergency and assessment short term accommodation. Category 2: supported tenancy. Category 3: group living. Category 4: solo provision. Organisations accepted on to the DPS's will be invited (via categories) to mini competitions throughout the lifetime of the DPS's. Suppliers will bid against individual care placements. The evaluation will be based on on which proposal best meets the needs of the care plan and the service user's needs at the lowest cost.
