PIN notice in regards to the procurement of a benefit, financial and debt advice service for residences across Bath and North East Somerset. The Council is committed to supporting the social and financial well-being of its residents by ensuring that they are able to access advice and information which will enable them to understand and protect their rights and to make the choices which are right for them. Residents should be able to access free independent advice covering finance, welfare benefits and debt. They should also be given advice and information concerning their obligations and responsibilities where appropriate. The Council is already providing direct financial support to residents through the welfare support scheme and the provision of an Advice and Information service is another tool which enables the Council to address the root cause of financial problems faced by its residents.
