Tender description

To put into place a framework to deliver external health and safety courses in the following five (5) below is the breakdown of the lots and the courses in each lot: Lot 1: HSE User/Operator; Lot 2: HSE Maintainer; Lot 3: HSE Electrical; Lot 4: Management of HSE; Lot 5: Professional HSE. Lot 1: HSE User/Operator: — confined spaces, — manual handling, — working at heights, — abrasive wheels, — forklift, — mobile elevated work platforms — novice. Lot 2: HSE Maintainer: — inspection of ladders pit boards and system scaffold/mobile access platforms, — wire rope inspection, — IPAF operator course (International Powered Access Federation), — PASMA (Prefabricated Access Suppliers and Manufacturer’s Association), — inspection/examination procedures of lifting tackle/accessories, safety harness/restraint equipment including loose lifting machines, — inspection/examination/maintenance of overhead cranes (EOTC), swing jibs and runways (fixed lifting machines) including pit manipulator. Lot 3: HSE Electrical: — wiring regulations (BS7671) updates, — city and guilds (C&G) 2377-22 portable appliance testing, — C&G2382-18 — IET wiring regulations: requirements for electrical installations BS7671:2018 (18th Edition), — C&G 2392-52 inspection and testing course. Lot 4: Management of HSE: — control of substances hazardous to health regulations (COSHH), — face fit testing, — asbestos training, — construction design and management courses. Lot 5: Professional HSE: — NEBOSH (National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health), — IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health), — British Safety Council Level 1 Award in health and safety in the workplace, — British Safety Council Level 2 award in supervising staff safely.
