Tender description

NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has procured adult community health services using a process similar to a competitive procedure with negotiation. The CCG sought a single provider to deliver adult community services for a term of up to 10 years across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. The provider needs to become a long-term system partner, providing person-centred care, working closely with primary care leadership and being flexible to transition towards more integrated and innovative working. The budget is circa 106 000 000 GBP per annum to cover all core adult community services, including integrated locality teams, locality hubs, acute and reactive care and specialist advice and support. Mobilisation will begin from September 2019 and the service will go live from 1.4.2020. NHS Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) sought to procure adult community health services for Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. The procurement used a process similar to a competitive procedure with negotiation. Sirona care and health community interest company has been awarded the contract. Services will commence on 1.4.2020 for a period of 10 years, with no possibility of extension. The total contract value is 1 056 052 696 GBP. The contract covers all core adult community health services, focusing on 4 service specifications: integrated locality teams, acute and reactive care, specialist advice and support and locality hubs.
