Tender description
Provision of new blue buoys to refresh the in-service stock, as used within Airborne Delivery Equipment (ADE) stores parachuting systems. This contract is to meet the requirements of the Air Support C17CSAE PT to provide Blue Fender Buoys to support the delivery of Airborne Delivery Equipment (ADE). These buoys provide flotation for several ADE airdrop platforms including but not limited to: Light Stores, SPAD, PURIBAD and MMP. Other providers would therefore be unable to provide the equipment without the requisite safety assurances which would result in disproportionate technical difficulties, as well as a gap in capability. The contract may therefore only be awarded to this particular economic operator as Zodiac MilPro Ltd is the only company able to fulfil the full requirement.
