Tender description

Sow and Penk Internal Drainage Board (SPIDB) has commissioned North Lincolnshire Council (NLC) to undertake a formal tender exercise on its behalf to procure a contractor to deliver the watercourse maintenance services commencing April 2020. Routine works include flail mowing, de-weeding, de-silting, culvert clearance including inspection/clearance of trash grids/drains. Sow and Penk Internal Drainage Board (SPIDB) has commissioned North Lincolnshire Council (NLC) to undertake a formal tender exercise on its behalf to procure a contractor to deliver the watercourse maintenance services commencing April 2020. The length of ordinary watercourse in the current year’s maintenance scheme is 40,66 km. The proposed service shall commence from April each year for the clearance of culverts and the middle of July each year for watercourse maintenance. Delivery will be dictated by weather, crop and access as soon as practical within the calendar year. Routine works include flail mowing, de-weeding, de-silting, culvert clearance including inspection/clearance of trash grids/drains.
