Tender description

Onward are looking to procure a repairs and maintenance mobile software solution for scheduling, and workforce planning and management. This project will initially be to support Onward repairs, who manage 7 500 properties in the Lancashire region for Onward. The requirement may be rolled out to include additional areas of the Onward business as necessary. There is potential however for the system to expand to additional areas of the Onward Business, and so any solution must be able to expand as and when it may be required. The following information systems are currently used within Onward, and the system will need to integrate with these: (a) orchard housing management system, and use the standard contractor interface for all electronic communication; (b) open accounts finance system; (c) keystone asset management, with keystone mini for asbestos information directly to all contractors working on behalf of Onward. Onward Group Ltd is one of the largest registered providers of social housing based solely in the North West of England with 35 000 homes across Merseyside, Lancashire, Greater Manchester and Cheshire. Formerly known as Symphony Housing Group, we rebranded to Onward in April 2017 and now operate as a single organisation under 1 common board. Onward’s housing stock is managed as 3 regions: Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Lancashire. Each Region is further divided in to a number of neighbourhoods, reflecting local boundaries. Onward is as a not-for-profit organisation, committed to the regeneration and sustainability of the North West region, with a primary focus on making a positive difference in the communities we serve. Onward wishes to procure a repairs and maintenance software solution for scheduling, workforce planning and workforce management. This will allow Onward to successfully manage it's workforce with relation to direct labour.
