Tender description

To have a suitably qualified provider to discharge the Council’s homelessness duties to young singles: — to prevent youth homelessness and associated risks (overarching objective of Youth Pathway), — to have sufficient accommodation and support units to deliver SYH, both maintaining and enhancing existing service provision, — to limit the risk of inappropriate placements and reduce the need for young people to be placed out of Borough, — to commission longer term contracts which will improve the efficiency and VFM of current arrangements, provide longer-term certainty for service providers and ensure priority continues to be given to achieving positive outcomes for young people. Solihull Youth Hub and supported lodgings. Floating support and fixed support at various locations around the borough.
