Tenders are invited under Open Procedure for the Supply and delivery of a Supply and Delivery of a Single Quadrupole Mass Spectrometer Gas Chromatograph and , Autosampler, for Trinity College Dublin (TCD). Trinity College Dublin wish to purchase a Gas Chromatograph Mass Spectrometer. This instrument will be used for analysis of complex volatile mixtures of natural origin. In particular, GC/MS spectra will be generated that will require support of an extensive natural product mass spectral data base i.e. (the FFNSC 3 Flavour & Fragrance Natural & Synthetic Compounds GC/MS library.). In addition, the processing software will need to be able to perform metabolomic and chemometric analysis, allowing the comparison of multiple data sets from different samples and correlating composition using peak alignment for multiple samples and then principal component analysis (PCA).
