Power Management System - Upgrade & Replacement (Met Office - Exeter)

Tender description

This Tender is seeking proposals to undertake works to replace and upgrade the Power Management System [PMS] at the Met Office’s FitzRoy Road site in Exeter. Whereby, the selected contractor shall design, manufacture, test offsite, deliver, install, test and commission a fully functional replacement solution, suitable for retrofit within the confines of the existing system that meets the performance requirements detailed within the associated tender document. Reuse of existing cabling and panels is paramount within the scope of the work, at the same time replacing elements of the existing system deemed to be obsolete and as such unsupported by their Original Equipment Manufacturer. Equally, Business Continuity will be essential during the installation process, as will close adherence to the envisaged programme timeline, such that we are seeking proposals from competent organisations with previously experience of undertaking such work.
