Mechanical engineering installation works

Tender description

UK BiC requires a team of mechanical installation engineers to oversee the arrival of all the facility equipment on site, at UK BiC, between November 2019 and July 2020. It may be that other items of equipment are delivered outside of this time window and if this is the case, the project envisages that this will be the same team who oversee installation. The contract is likely to include: unload equipment from supplier delivery vehicles, check and unpack the equipment within the facility and then place in situ as detailed by the project team in agreement with the equipment supplier. Furthermore, you will be expected to engage with the individual equipment suppliers (and the Cat B fit out team on site) to make the appropriate connections. We reserve the right to have an option for equipment storage within this agreement, if it becomes necessary. An accelerated competitive with negotiation tender is being carried out to establish a contract with one supplier for mechanical installation engineering at the UK BiC facility within Coventry. Any items of equipment delivered outside of the main timetable are also envisaged to be installed by the supplier appointed within this agreement.
