A full managed solution for implementation of a salary sacrifice shared cost scheme in respect of Added voluntary contributions (AVC’s) on a shared cost basis within the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) including employee applications, salary sacrifice payroll data and integration with the AVC provider application and reporting processes. This is where an employee opts to pay AVC’s under Regulation 17 of the LGPS Regulations 2013 (the 2013 Regulations); an employer can decide to also contribute to that employee’s AVC arrangement. It is anticipated that the initial contract will run for approximately 36 months with the provision for 2 further 12-month extension periods and a commencement date of December 2019. Kent County Council (KCC) is looking for an organisation to provide a service of a salary sacrifice shared cost added voluntary contribution scheme for the Kent County Council. The Council intends to hold a competitive tendering process in the autumn 2019 via the Kent Business Portal, to secure this service and is publishing this notice to enable the option of reduced OJEU advert timescales. It is the Council’s aim to make the invitation to tender (ITT) process as easy as possible for tenderers to complete.
