Replacement of operation property asset system. Network Rail is seeking to discuss options with suppliers of a number of existing in use systems to understand if those systems have the capability required. Network Rail may at a later stage engage with the wider market to understand what systems/capabilities are available. The purpose of this PIN is to inform the market that Network Rail is seeking to replace its current operation property asset system and to have the replacement fully tested and implemented by March 2022. Network Rail is seeking to discuss options available with suppliers of a number of existing and in use systems to understand if those systems have the capability to provide the functionality required to manage the operational property assets. Network Rail may at a later stage engage with the wider market to understand what systems/capabilities are available. Should Network Rail seek to issue a competition, this would be issued using one of the following platforms. Either the supplier qualification system (SQS) or the dynamic purchasing system (DPS) and therefore to those suppliers who have registered and qualified on those platforms.
